Use Stonefield Query as a report generator and creation tool to export data from an existing database and create Excel output in one of the following 3 Excel formats:
Microsoft Excel - Data Only: this outputs the fields that appear in the report to gernerate a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with minimal formatting.
Microsoft Excel - Full Format: this outputs to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet but reproduces the layout of the report as closely as possible, including formatting and calculated fields. The default extension for an Excel file is XLS.
Microsoft Excel - PivotTable: this outputs a cross-tab report to a Microsoft Excel PivotTable. The default extension for an Excel file is XLS, but it will automatically
change the file extension to XLSX if Excel 2007 or later is installed on your system because Excel requires that. This output type is only available for cross-tab reports.
