Hello - I am getting error 1426 when opening my ACT 2006 database.   I have made the .net framework fix as suggested in the documentation.  Please let me know what to try next.

Hello Linda,

There is a Utilities subdirectory in your Stonefield Query for ACT! directory. In this directory are files called RegisterQueryDLLs1.bat and RegisterQueryDLLs2.bat.

If you are using ACT 2005 or 2006 run the RegisterQueryDLLs1.bat file and it will register the neccessary DLL' s on your machine.

If you are running ACT 2007 or later run the RegisterQueryDLLs2.bat file.

In either case you will get a message telling you if the types registered successfully or not. Once this is successful you can try running Stonefield Query again and it should fix your issue.

Actually, that didn't fix the problem. I resolved the error by installing ACT.

I was using a PC for testing purposes that did not have ACT installed.
