01/22/2008 7:00 AM Alert

I am putting together a report that gives a listing of any notes entered for a customer for each sales rep. I can't figure out how to use the Date () expression with notes though since the expression option isn't there.

How can I set this up to just return notes entered "today"?

In order to do this you will need to filter on the "Start Date/Time" field in your History table as you can use an expression filter on it.

The lower part of your filter will be: DTOT(DATE())
and the upper part will be: DTOT(DATE() + 1) - 1

This filter will then give you all history items entered today.

Thanks for the quick response Chris, but....

Act is 5.04.495 and am looking to just pull the notes for "today". I don't see a Start Date/Time.

And also, SFQ is 3.04.2510 (is that current?).

I apologize as that info was for a later version of ACT.

For your version there should be a field called "Creation Date" that you can use for the filter.

The expression for this would be:

"Creation Date" equals DATE()

The latest version of Stonefield Query for ACT is 3.10.2937. If you would like to update please send an email to support@stonefieldquery.com and we can send you instructions.

We are getting closer!

The closest I have to "Creation Date" is "Record Creation Date" but that doesn't let me add Date() I can only select "Date".

I can send you a screen shot if you would like.

Thanks for helping me with this! Stonefield's support and the product itself has always been EXCELLENT!

"Record Creation Date" is the correct field name.

Please send a screenshot of the filter dialog while setting up an expression to support@stonefieldquery.com
