As part of a package we have purchased we have a copy of your Query tool which is fully registered and lives on the C:\ drive of our developement machine which we use to develop new queries. We then have the runtime version sitting on our server which we use to import the new queries and run them on the live data. I just developed a new query which ran fine on the dev PC, then imported it into the runtime version and got a error message "Cannot Load xfrxlib.fll". When I looked in the directories of the C:\ and the server I noticed that said fll file was missing from the server. We have just upgraded the main application (of which your query tool is part) and it looks like for some reason that particular file has gone missing. I can't just copy the file from one location to the other. Is this something you can help me with or do I need to get back to the supplier of our main application?

Thanks for your support, Ian.

Hi,

I have been going through an install of Stonefield Query with one of our customers this morning, and during the installation they told me that they got an error message saying that the file mentioned by Eyejay, "xfrfllb.fll", and also "hndllb.dll" were missing. We chose to ignore the error message and the installation seemed to complete OK.

We are due to test the product tomorrow, can you please let me know whether this is something to be concerned about?

Thanks,

Nev

Hi Guys.

It looks like anti-virus software is the culprit. Please see http://blog.stonefieldquery.com/2008/07/antivirus-software-causing-errors-in.html.

Thanks Doug,

We don't use Trend Micro and as I far as I know our IT dept haven't updated the a/v software recently. To fix the problem can we just copy the two missing files into the SFQ folder or does it require a full re-installation? We have the programme running without problem in a different location and so we can easily copy the files. We do need to have the programme running in both locations.

Many thanks, Ian.

PS I posted on the blog as well as I couldn't access the forum at the time, sorry.

Hi Ian.

Yes, you can just copy those two files. Neither requires registration.
