Pre-Defined Sample Reports |
Stonefield Query comes with several pre-defined sample reports. These reports are automatically added to your list of reports the first time you run Stonefield Query. You can delete any you don't wish to use. To re-add a pre-defined report you've deleted, choose the Import function from the File menu, move into the Sample Reports subdirectory, and select the desired report.The following reports come with Stonefield Query.
- Customers.sfx: Labels for customers. This label prints all four lines of address, so it requires a 1.5 inch high label.
- Customers - Short.sfx: Labels for customers. This label only prints the first two lines of address, so it fits on 1 inch high labels.
- Drilldown Child - Sales Order Details.sfx: This sample report is an example of a child report in a linking situation. The Drilldown Parent - Sales Orders report is linked to this report, so clicking a sales order number in that report will display this report for that sales order.
This report can be run directly as well, like any other Query report, but generally it is run through the parent report.
- Drilldown Parent - Sales Orders.sfx: This sample report demonstrates Stonefield Query's ability to link reports. This report shows sales orders, and is linked to the Drilldown Child - Sales Order Details report. Clicking on an order number in this report will display that order's details using the sales order details report.
- Email and Website Linking.sfx: This simple customer report demonstrates Stonefield Query's ability to link email and website addresses in reports. The email and website fields in this report are set as linked fields, so you are able to launch a new email message or web browser by clicking them in the preview window.
Note that this report is set to only display the first 200 customers. This is simply to prevent the report from displaying a very large number of customers.
- Employees.sfx: Labels for employees. This label prints all four lines of address, so it requires a 1.5 inch high label.
- Employees - Short.sfx: Labels for employees. This label only prints the first two lines of address, so it fits on 1 inch high labels.
- Exclusion Filter Sample.sfx: This report shows an example of an exclusion filter. The report prompts for a date range, and shows a list of customers who do not have any sales orders in that range.
- GL Postings.sfx: This report shows GL postings by the source ledger.
- Inactive Inventory Items.sfx: This report shows inventory items, along with information about the last time they were purchased.
- Job Information.sfx: This report shows information about jobs, including income, expense, and profit.
- Job Transactions.sfx: This report prints job transactions by job and account.
- Line Chart - Sales by Month.sfx: This line chart report shows total sales for each month. The results are based from the sales order invoice total field. The report includes a filter on the order date, so the results can be restricted to a particular date range.
- Pie Chart - Sales by Salesperson.sfx: This pie chart report shows total sales for each salesperson. The results are based from the sales order invoice total field. The report includes a filter on the order date, so the results can be restricted to a particular date range.
- Sales Orders.sfx: This report shows sales order details.
- Sales Orders by Salesperson.sfx: This report shows sales order information grouped by salesperson.
- Top Sales by Part Number.sfx: This summary report shows total sales for each part number. The results are sorted using the extended price from the sales order detail, so the parts are listed in order of the largest total sales. The report includes a filter on the order date, so that the results can be restricted to a particular date range.
- Top Sales by Salesperson.sfx: This summary report shows total sales for each salesperson. The results are sorted using the total amount from the sales header, so the salespeople are listed in order of the largest total sales. The report includes a filter on the order date, so the results can be restricted to a particular date range.
- Two Year Monthly Client Sales Comparison: This report will display 24 months summary information from Sales History, showing the monthly totals for each customer. The second set of 12 months is compared to the first, giving the percentage change for the same month in each year. When the report is run, it will prompt for the starting date of this 24-month period.
- Vendor List.sfx: This report shows a concise listing of vendors.
